SCRAPBOOKING

Please Note: A 12x12 scrapbook album is typically chosen. Depending on the items given to me, a smaller scrapbook album may be used. The price of the scrapbooks range from $100.00-$250.00. Check back to the Services page for more details.

  • Do the prices of the scrapbook include shipping?

No, the prices of scrapbooks do not include shipping. My final invoice will include the shipping charge!

  • Do the prices of the scrapbook include an album or do I have to purchase that separately?

Prices include the album, so no need to purchase one!

  • How do I get my items to you if I don't live in CT?

I will provide you the address to ship your items to me. An inventory sheet and client agreement form will be sent to you. Please be certain you have electronically signed the client agreement form before shipping to me. Include tracking so that I can be on the lookout for the shipment. I will double check the inventory list to make sure everything is accurate when it arrives.

 

If you don't have photos developed, but they are on your computer, phone, etc, you may choose to upload them to a shared Dropbox folder for me to print out. There will be a small fee (.30 cents per picture) and the photos will be the standard 4x6 size & matte finish. 

  • Can an album be created with just paper items like invitations and cards rather than photos?

YES, of course! I truly believe invitations, cards, letters, notes, etc, shouldn't be kept in a box or drawer. They should be displayed nicely in an album for you and your family to enjoy. If you want just an album of those items, I can certainly create one for you!

  • What products do you use on my pictures?

Reputable companies that label their products acid-free/lignin-free will be used on photos and certain memorabilia.

  • Should I organize my photos if I'm mailing them to you?

It is best if you organize your photos by occasion and year. You can separate them into ziploc bags with a note to help create the perfect highlight in your scrapbook. Example: Noting the event/year/people/anything you want to remember! 

  • What if I'm uploading my photos into the shared Dropbox folder you created? How do I "organize" them?

In the main Dropbox folder I create and share with you (and only you), you can create multiple folders within that one folder. When you've done it, you can upload/drag each photo into the proper secondary folder. 

  • I don't have a creative vision for my scrapbook or I don't have enough time to be involved in creating my scrapbook. Can I leave the design up to you?

Absolutely! You decide how involved you are. This process can be simple as you telling me your do's and don'ts for your scrapbook and leave the rest up to me.

  • I would like to be included in the beginning process of my scrapbook. Is this possible?

Yes. When I begin your project, I will send you 3 layouts via text or e-mail (whichever you prefer), to see if I'm headed in the right direction. Your vision is important. Nothing will be made permanent until I get approval. You will have 24 hours to respond before I move forward.

  • Is it possible to get my scrapbook both lightly and moderately embellished or moderately and highly embellished?

Yes! An example would be deciding 10 pages are lightly embellished and 10 are highly embellished. We can discuss more details and talk about the cost.

  • How many pages will be in my scrapbook?

Albums automatically come with 10 page protectors. The pages I create for your scrapbook are double-sided. Once I know what exactly is going into your special keepsake, I'll know if your album will need more than the original 10 page protectors (I will notify you ahead of time) and additional cost will be added to your final invoice.

  • How many cards and photos can fit on a one-sided page?

The more items that are trimmed down or cut, the more I will be able to fit on a page. Typically 2-5 photos and 1-2 cards will fit.
 

  • Will you crop my photos?

Unless otherwise specified, I will trim, cut, and cover unnecessary backgrounds from photos. 

  • Is a consultation needed/mandatory?

No, but to get a better idea of how you would like me to design your scrapbook, a consultation might be beneficial! If you want to leave it totally in my hands, that's okay too!

  • What if I have something that is too bulky for a scrapbook?

If I find that one of your items is better off showcased in another way (example: a shadowbox), then you will be contacted and we will discuss options & cost if you decide to go that route.

  • How does payment work?

Scrapbooks require half of payment upon agreement. An invoice will be sent to you. The second invoice will have the remaining balance owed plus shipping charge. Payment must be received and cleared before your order gets shipped to you. A signature will be required upon delivery!

PARTY DECORATIONS

  • I have a specific space where I want my banner for my party. Can I give you the measurements?

Yes, for customized party decorations, measurements of the area may be given to me so that the banner I create is not too large or too small.

  • Are the banners assembled?

Yes, all the banners I create (custom or in the store) are already assembled and are stationary. Life is hectic enough, especially when planning a party! All you have to do is take the banner out of the bag and hang it up where you want it!  I leave enough ribbon at the beginning and end of all banners, which allows you to tie it onto something if you don't want to tape it to the wall. 

  • If I wanted a "happy birthday" banner, is it one or two banners?

I prefer making the banners separate. This allows you to place it where you want during your party. We can discuss this more! Don't forget to take a peek at the Party Decoration gallery to see the different varieties.

  • There are items in your gallery that are not listed in your Party Kits, can I place an order for them? 

Yes, items can be requested for an additional cost. Contact me with the item, theme, and quantity you will need. Check out the Party Items list.

  • How does payment work?

All Party Kits require full payment. An invoice will be sent to you. The second invoice will have the shipment cost. Payment must be received and cleared before your order gets shipped to you. 

 

ADVICE and WISHES CARDS

  • Is it possible to get a few styles of cards made?

Yes. The advice cards do not all have to be 1 style. If you look through the Advice/Wishes gallery, you will see the variety of ones created.

  • How does payment work?

An invoice will be sent for the full amount. It must be paid before I begin your order. A second invoice will be sent with the shipping charge. All payments must be paid and cleared before being shipped to you.

SHADOWBOXES and FRAMES

  • What determines if my memorabilia gets displayed in a shadowbox or frame?

Any item that is bulky is better showcased in a shadowbox. Items that are flat and paper-like are displayed better in a frame. Take a look at the Shadowboxes and Frames gallery to see a few options!

  • What determines the size of my keepsake?

This is determined by the size and quantity of the memorabilia that is sent to me. Please inquire!

DRYING OF FLOWERS & SHOWCASING (FOR CONNECTICUT RESIDENTS ONLY)

  • How do you determine the way my flowers get showcased?

This depends if you would like your whole bouquet dried for a larger keepsake or only a few petals dried for a smaller keepsake.

  • If I only want some petals to dry/keep, but have other things I'd like to pair it up with (like a few photos or notes), can they be in the keepsake as well?

Yes, of course! 

  • How does payment work?

This service requires half of payment upon agreement. An invoice will be sent to you. Once payment is received and cleared, I will begin your order. The second invoice will have the remaining balance owed and must be paid and cleared before I deliver it to you. If I'm required to travel outside the Fairfield County area for meet up, a small additional fee will be added to your second invoice.

OTHER QUESTIONS

  • Is there a discount if I use 2 of your services for 1 occasion? For example: If you design my advice and wishes cards for my bridal shower and I want you to scrapbook them, along with photos.

Yes, I am happy to offer a discount off of the second service!

  • I saw an item in your shop that I would like to purchase, but it's no longer available. Can you create it again?

Yes, just contact me!
